Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies typically in the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable to The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and an obsession with these films. After earning some recognition through the channels of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She began to review films in the latter half of 2009. The website was her home until 2015, at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The appearances she made during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax, but also the odd adult comedy. She began reviewing films late in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing group. She has appeared on countless Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous episodes on Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
